Grace Doulas Birth Education Classes

This CBE class is ideal for out-of-hospital birthing couples but it also prepares you for hospital births.

The Grace Doulas Childbirth Education classes are a fusion of principles found in Bradley and Lamaze classes. They incorporate principles of birth positioning, movement, and visualization. This class is perfect for moms planning to deliver at home, at a birthing center, in a hospital, or for those still trying to decide!

Both first time mamas and moms who've had less than ideal birth experiences will benefit from this classes.  This classes will make any mom feel more prepared and ready to face the unknown journey of childbirth.  And we love helping dads find their purpose and role as coach, as unique individuals, during the childbirth experience. Together, you will be empowered to advocate for yourselves as needed throughout the birth process.

Nervous about being a single mom? Don't be! Grab your mom or BFF and attend together; we'd love to have you join us!

We'll help decrease your worries, lessen your anxiety of the unknown, and equip you with a strategy to face unexpected decisions with a peaceful inner confidence.  Join us for a hands-on, engaging journey of preparation for parenthood and learn how to:

  • Prepare your mind and body for the athletic event called labor

  • Manage early labor at home

  • Relax and work with your labor and not against it

  • Use positioning to facilitate your labor's progress

  • Help ensure a positive birth experience

Topics for our six weeks include Nutrition and Exercise, Nuts and Bolts of Coping with Labor, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of Interventions, Meeting the Challenges of Breastfeeding, and Coming Home- Now What?
