Although we do not bill your insurance directly, many insurance plans will reimburse some portion of midwifery care. Birth Professional Billing (birthprofessionalbilling.com), provides biller services for families choosing midwifery care. These ladies are trained midwives and will fight for you to get as much reimbursement from your insurance as possible.

Many families who have insurance, find the out of pocket costs of midwifery care are significantly less than a hospital delivery, and for some the service fee for midwifery care is lower than their deductible amount in a plan for the year.

We also accept cost sharing programs such as Liberty, Christian Healthcare Ministries or Samaritan Ministries.

As a maternity care provider in this community, Redding Midwifery desires to provide the option of midwifery care for families of all socioeconomic statuses. If you are of lower income, there is an option of getting care on a sliding scale basis. Please reach out for more information.
